Lawrence Krauss is an internationally known theoretical physicist and bestselling author, as well as being an acclaimed lecturer. He has also appeared regularly on radio and television, as well as in several feature films. His wide research interests have focused on the interface between elementary particle physics and cosmology, including the origin and evolution of the Universe and the fundamental structure of matter. Among his numerous important scientific contributions was the proposal, in 1995, that most of the energy of the Universe resided in empty space. The astronomers whose observations later demonstrated this were aware the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2011.

How is this

While working at the esoteric forefronts of science, and developing important new software for applications may seem far removed from each other, they are not. Both involve thinking outside the box, looking beneath the surface to see what is really there, being willing to be wrong and learning from your mistakes. I will take listeners on a voyage of discovery, drawing lessons from several recent exciting developments in particle physics, and in cosmology, that not only reveal how much more fascinating the real world is than one may ever have imagined, but will also highlight how the tools of science apply to the business world as well
